Buddies4Life - Care for People with Disabilities
🌟 Buddies4Life, LLC — Building Independence and Friendship 4 Life
At Buddies4Life, LLC (B4L) and Buddies Behavioral Services (BBS), we believe that individuals with disabilities — our Buddies — deserve quality care, meaningful relationships, and the opportunity to live life to the fullest.
For the past six years, we’ve proudly served communities across Utah County, Salt Lake County, Davis County, and Weber County, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive.
💙 Our Mission: Independence Through Compassion
Buddies4Life was founded by Andrew and Tresa Brinton, loving parents of three children with Autism who personally experienced the life-changing power of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy.
Their journey began when their son, Luke — once non-verbal and struggling — transformed through ABA therapy into a confident, independent young man who graduated high school, attended college, and now holds a full-time job.
Inspired by that transformation, the Brintons dedicated their lives to helping other families experience the same growth, empowerment, and joy.
At Buddies4Life, we know that environment influences behavior. That’s why we create supportive, nurturing, and inclusive homes where every Buddy is treated with love, dignity, and respect. Whether in group homes, host homes, or adult day programs, our goal is to foster meaningful independence for life.

Meet the Founders of Buddies 4 Life
💞 Meet the Founders — Andrew & Tresa Brinton
At the heart of Buddies4Life, LLC and Buddies Behavioral Services (BBS) are two compassionate parents and visionaries — Andrew and Tresa Brinton. Their journey began not as business owners, but as loving parents raising three incredible children with Autism.
Their family’s story is one of resilience, advocacy, and deep empathy for individuals with disabilities. Through their personal experiences, Andrew and Tresa developed a profound understanding of what true care, inclusion, and independence look like — and the vital role environment plays in shaping a person’s growth.
👨🏫 A Lifelong Commitment to Special Needs Education
Andrew Brinton has spent over 20 years teaching Special Needs Students, guiding and mentoring children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. His extensive experience in education, combined with his deep compassion and leadership, has helped hundreds of individuals reach milestones that once seemed out of reach.
Tresa, known for her nurturing heart and tireless advocacy, has been equally instrumental in shaping Buddies4Life’s mission. Together, their shared commitment to helping others thrive became the foundation of what would grow into one of Utah’s most trusted care and behavioral service providers.
🏡 How Buddies4Life Began
Their story started when Andrew and Tresa began working as Host Parents, opening their home to individuals with disabilities. They quickly realized that while their clients’ needs were growing — emotional, financial, and social — the level of support they were receiving remained stagnant.
Rather than settling for “good enough,” Andrew and Tresa took action. They began personally advocating for their client’s well-being by:
-
Contacting Workforce Services to secure food assistance and financial aid.
-
Collaborating with behavioralists, home health agencies, and medical providers to develop a personalized Behavioral Support Plan.
-
Coordinating shower aides, massage therapists, occupational and physical therapy, and necessary medication adjustments.
-
Partnering with Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Counselors to create opportunities for meaningful work and skill development.
Through this hands-on approach, they saw firsthand how much impact dedicated advocacy and personalized support can make. What began as a heartfelt effort to help one individual soon grew into a calling — a mission to serve many more.
🌟 From Passion to Purpose: The Birth of Buddies4Life
In May 2019, Andrew and Tresa officially founded Buddies4Life, LLC, a micro-provider agency with a simple but powerful mission:
“To help our Buddies achieve independence and meaningful lives.”
They built Buddies4Life around the belief that every individual with disabilities deserves the best environment possible — one filled with love, dignity, structure, and opportunity.
Their approach ensures that every Buddy experiences:
-
Beautiful, comfortable homes and day programs designed to promote independence.
-
A “white-glove” level of care for both clients and support teams.
-
Compassionate staff who are thoroughly trained and supported.
-
A vibrant community that celebrates inclusion and long-term relationships 4Life.
💙 Empowering Families and Support Teams
Andrew and Tresa’s passion extends beyond the individuals they serve — they also focus on empowering host parents and caregivers. They ensure that every family providing care is well-trained, supported, and compensated above industry averages, because they believe those who care for others deserve to be cared for too.
Through community training, family education, and hands-on mentorship, they teach their host families how to help clients thrive in the community, build lasting friendships, and achieve meaningful independence.
🌈 A Legacy of Love and Inclusion
Every program at Buddies4Life — from residential homes and adult day programs to ABA therapy and behavioral services — is an extension of Andrew and Tresa’s personal mission to bring hope, dignity, and belonging to those with disabilities.
Their ultimate goal is simple but life-changing:
To create meaningful relationships and independence 4Life.
Whether you’re a parent seeking support for your loved one, a professional looking to make a difference, or a community member wanting to be involved — Andrew and Tresa look forward to working with you and welcoming you into the Buddies4Life family.
